Moore Square Movies

Head downtown to Moore Square for some free, outdoor movies! Previously known as Cinema in the Square Raleigh, the Moore Square movies are free and open to the public as a part of First Fridays. Before the movie screenings start, there will be themed entertainment and a pop-up market with a collection of arts and crafts, baked goods, and various other local vendors’ products.
Times:
The pop-up market and food will run from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Live music will start at 5:30 PM
Most movies will start at 7:15 PM, but this time changes as the sun sets earlier in the fall months.
Please be aware that movie showings may be postponed due to the weather. You can call 919-996-6484 to check for any cancellations.

Food and Drink
On-site concessions will be available for purchase at Square Burger and various food trucks.
You’re welcome to bring your own food and beverage as well or book a picnic with us!
Location and Parking
Moore Square, 200 South Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
McLaurin Parking Garage and Moore Square Lot are two parking lots near Moore Square. Refer to this map of nearby parking lots for more information.
Parking in the Moore Square Lot is $1.50/hour for the first four hours and $2/hour after four hours.
Insider Tips
Bring a blanket and some outdoor pillows and enjoy a picnic with your movie! Pack some sandwiches and water or pick up some takeout from a nearby restaurant. Our personal favorite is picking up lettuce wraps from Bida Manda (just across the street from the park).
