Raleigh Parks Summer Concert Series
The City of Raleigh is hosting several free summer concerts on Sunday evenings. Pack a picnic and enjoy some live jazz music by a local band in the open air. Fred Fletcher Park and Pullen Park are hosting the concerts on select Sundays in June through September.
The summer concerts are free and open to the public and are about two hours long. While the concert is free, guests are encouraged to bring cash to tip the band.
Inclement weather can cause concerts to be canceled. We recommend checking the City of Raleigh’s webpage for the most up-to-date information.

What to Bring
Picnic Supplies
We recommend bringing your own chairs or picnic blanket and pillows to sit on.
Picnic Food and Drink
Finger food like sandwiches, cheese, and fresh fruit make for easy and delicious picnic food. You could also order takeaway from one of the local nearby restaurants. Our personal favorite takeaway order for a picnic is a cheese pizza from Oakwood Pizza Box, which comfortably feeds four. Just ask for some napkins and paper plates so you have those with you for your picnic!
